Biography

     “Monique Andress” born Andress Monique Williams is from East New York Brooklyn.  She attended Long Island University/Southampton Campus where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Management.  She is currently working for the Department of Housing and Urban Development as a Contract Specialist.

      Monique decided to take acting seriously in 1996.  Her first play was called “You Shouldn’t Have Told” where she played a Spanish character.  From there it has been an up hill blessing.  From there she has performed in plays that have afforded her the opportunity to travel to Boston, Syracuse and Chicago.  Some of her theater credits include: Dying to Live, A Piece of Me, Dont Turn Your Back on the Ones You Love, The Making of a Perfect Mate”, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Was Enuf”, “A Gamble of Faith”, “ A Raisin in the Sun”; Television/Film Credits: Louie (F/X),A Change of Heart, Ch. 11, Bamboozled, Joe Gould’s Secret.  

      She is excited about her production company Mo'Diva Quality Productions, LLC where she plans on producing many workshops to empower women and put on quality and educational productions for the community. Her goal is to give her GOD given talent back to the community in a positive way.
